Understanding the mechanism of DIZOLE
Difenoconazole inhibits the cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP51, which blocks the demethylation of lanosterol during ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes. This disrupts the formation of fungal cell membranes and prevents normal fungal development. As a result, hyphal growth is stopped, causing structural collapse of the pathogen and effective disease control.
