Diafenthiuron is converted by sunlight and metabolic oxidation into its bioactive carbodiimide form. This active form inhibits proton-translocating ATPase in the mitochondria, disrupting energy production in the insect. The resulting energy depletion causes irreversible disruption of respiratory function, ultimately leading to the death of the target pests.

Heranba FENTHURON is generally compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, but it should not be mixed with alkaline compounds, sulphur, and copper-based fungicides. Always perform a small-scale jar compatibility test before preparing a tank mix.
