SCIENCE

Mode of Action

Understanding the mechanism of HENOXA

Pest Control Mechanism

Novaluron inhibits chitin synthesis in moulting larvae, preventing cuticle formation and normal larval development. Indoxacarb is bio-activated to block voltage-dependent sodium channels, causing paralysis and death in feeding larvae. The combined action of these two active ingredients targets multiple developmental stages of the pests, providing effective and sustained control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common queries about HENOXA insecticide

Novaluron inhibits chitin synthesis in moulting larvae, preventing cuticle formation and normal larval development. Indoxacarb is bio-activated to block voltage-dependent sodium channels, causing paralysis and death in feeding larvae. Together, these two active ingredients target multiple developmental stages of the pests, providing effective and sustained control.

Heranba HENOXA is generally compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, but it should not be mixed with alkaline compounds, sulphur, and copper-based fungicides. Always perform a small-scale jar compatibility test before preparing a tank mix.

Heranba HENOXA can be used on tomato, chickpea, soybean, pigeon pea (red gram/arhar/tur), chilli, blackgram, rice (paddy), and groundnut to control the target pests listed in the dosage recommendations.

Apply Heranba HENOXA at the recommended dosage according to the crop and target pest. Refer to the dosage table for the appropriate application rate for each crop. It disrupts the pest life cycle at two stages, reduces next-generation pest population build-up, and provides sustained protection across the spray interval.
