Mode of Action
Understanding the mechanism of PEACOCK
After application, PEACOCK is absorbed into the plant and moves systemically and through the leaf tissue to protect both existing and new growth. It controls fungal diseases by blocking mitochondrial complex III (cytochrome bc1), preventing the fungus from producing the energy (ATP) required for growth and reproduction. It also helps retain chlorophyll, keeping the crop greener and healthier for longer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common queries about PEACOCK insecticide
PEACOCK is absorbed by the plant and moves throughout its tissues to protect both treated and new growth. It stops fungal growth by disrupting the energy production process inside fungal cells, helping prevent and control disease effectively.
PEACOCK is generally compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, but it should not be mixed with alkaline compounds, Sulphur, and copper-based fungicides. Always perform a small-scale jar compatibility test before preparing the tank mix.
Heranba PEACOCK is recommended for use in rice (paddy), grapes, soybean, cumin, wheat, and vegetable crops to manage a wide range of fungal diseases.
The recommended dosage is 240 ml/acre for rice (paddy) and 160 ml/acre for grapes, soybean, and cumin. PEACOCK provides preventive and curative disease control, supports healthier foliage, improves harvestable yield, and helps manage diseases under high disease pressure.
