SILICON is absorbed by the plant and moves systemically to protect both treated and new plant growth. Its active ingredient, Hexaconazole, inhibits the CYP51 enzyme, preventing the production of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the fungus cannot grow or survive, effectively controlling the spread of disease.
