SILICON PLUS^®

SILICON PLUS is absorbed by the plant and moves systemically to protect both treated and new plant growth. Hexaconazole inhibits the CYP51 enzyme, preventing the formation of ergosterol, which is essential for fungal cell membrane development. This disrupts fungal growth and provides both preventive and curative disease control. Its SC formulation also improves leaf coverage, adhesion, and rainfastness.

SILICON PLUS is generally compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, but it should not be mixed with alkaline compounds, Sulphur, and copper-based fungicides. Always perform a small-scale jar compatibility test before preparing the tank mix.

SILICON PLUS is recommended for use in mango, rice (paddy), grapes, and other crops for the management of fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and sheath blight.

The recommended dosage is: Mango: 0.2% (2 ml/Litre of water) Rice (Paddy): 0.2% (2 ml/Litre of water) Grapes: 200–400 ml/acre SILICON PLUS provides superior leaf adhesion, improved rainfastness, systemic preventive and curative disease control, and reliable performance under high-humidity and rainy-season conditions.

Heranba SILICON PLUS is generally compatible with many commonly used crop protection products. However, it is always recommended to conduct a jar compatibility test before tank mixing and follow the label recommendations of all products being used. Avoid mixing with incompatible formulations, and use the tank mix only after confirming physical compatibility to ensure optimum performance and crop safety.
